In the second half of 2025, the Autumn Session of the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will kick off in Guangzhou. As a “leading indicator” in the domestic and international trade sector, this year’s Canton Fair has attracted participants from over 200 countries and regions worldwide. Jiangxi Shouhua Construction & Building Materials Co., Ltd. is showcasing its comprehensive range of glass products at the fair. Not only does this highlight the technological strength of domestically produced building materials, but during the event, the company also engaged in exchanges with Iceland’s former president, jointly exploring new opportunities for cooperation in the Nordic building materials market.
At this exhibition, Jiangxi Shouhua has focused on the demand characteristics of the Nordic market and highlighted three core product categories:
Highly insulated hollow glass: Suitable for the cold climates of Northern Europe, it can significantly enhance a building's thermal insulation and energy efficiency.
Safety-grade laminated glass: Complies with European safety standards, maintaining structural integrity even after breakage, and perfectly meets local building protection requirements.
Customized decorative glass: Supports personalized design of textures and patterns, perfectly suited for aesthetic decoration in Nordic commercial spaces.
At the exhibition booth, these products attracted inquiries from buyers from multiple countries, including Nordic traders, fully demonstrating the market suitability of domestically produced construction materials.
During the exhibition, the company’s executive met with and took a photo with Iceland’s former president. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on the characteristics of the Nordic construction market: Iceland and the Nordic region have stringent requirements for buildings in terms of “energy efficiency + safety,” and Jiangxi Shouhua’s glass products happen to perfectly meet these core demands. The president expressed his approval of the product’s technical specifications and its suitability for various application scenarios, and they also conducted preliminary discussions on such topics as channel development for the Nordic market and localized cooperation.
Previously, Jiangxi Shouhua had already established a presence in the East African and Southeast Asian markets. This year’s Canton Fair provides an opportunity to leverage interactions with international dignitaries to connect with Nordic resources—a significant extension of the company’s internationalization strategy. It not only showcases the high-quality strength of domestically produced building materials but also opens up new avenues for collaboration as the brand seeks to expand into premium overseas markets.
Going forward, the company will follow up on the expressed intent for cooperation from this exchange, continuously promoting the alignment of high-quality domestically produced building materials with global market demands, and enabling “Shouhua Manufacturing” to further advance onto the international stage.
