Principle The layer of dry air (or inert gas) between two panes of glass serves as an excellent thermal insulation barrier.
Effect It can effectively block the exchange of heat between indoors and outdoors. In winter, it reduces heat loss from inside the room; in summer, it slows down the influx of outdoor heat. This is its greatest advantage over Low-E glass, which exhibits slight reflections or color tints.
Extremely cost-effective
Among all double-glazed/insulated glass configurations, “Double-layer white glass” is the lowest-cost entry-level option. It offers the core functions of thermal insulation, soundproofing, and condensation prevention at a relatively low price, making it the most cost-effective upgrade solution.
Wide applicability, flexible combinations
Because it is colorless and transparent, it pairs perfectly with any architectural style and interior décor, without causing color conflicts.
It can serve as a basic configuration, with functionality upgraded later through methods such as applying films (e.g., sun protection, enhanced privacy).
